They say all good and beautiful things take time. At Scottish Kings, we’ve taken this message to heart. Consider this:

It can take nearly two years to travel by spacecraft to Mars and back ... depending on how much time you spend planting potatoes with Matt Damon.

It took J.R.R. Tolkien two years to write The Hobbit, and another 16 years to complete The Lord of The Rings Trilogy. For those of you counting at home, that is about 4.5 pages a day for 18 years.

A pineapple plant takes up to two years to mature and produce a ripe pineapple. A little ungrateful for you to be picking around them in your fruit salad, wouldn’t you say?! 

Extraordinary things take time. It’s no coincidence, then, that we have taken our time on this gin-making journey, slowly and meticulously refining our recipe. For two years, the Scottish Kings team has worked alongside master distillers in the Scottish Highlands to bring to life what we believe to be the best tasting gin this world has ever known.
